“You Are No One's Subject” - Feyre

Here, we have Feyre, lit from within in her Starfall dress. Described as a fallen star herself, I took this literally and made her the light source in the painting. Her dress is comprised of several layers of iridescent paint, catching the light as you turn it.

I focused on how Rhys sees her at Starfall. She is powerful and strong. Healing. The High Lady of the Night Court.

I hope you enjoy this painting. In many ways, revealing Feyre’s form and her face is the culmination of all 14 ACOTAR paintings. I hope this image inspires you to overcome your own obstacles, and remember Rhys’s words: “You are no one’s subject.”
