Looking for some bookish art for your home or library and want to showcase one of your favorite characters? I had so much fun designing this character field guide for Elizabeth Bennet, from Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.” This work is inspired by old scientific illustrations, but instead of focused on the natural world, it’s concentrated on your favorite character.

Key Features:

- Detailed Portrait: Originally oil-on-paper, Lizzy is illustrated with dark wind-swept hair while reading a book on a warm summer day.
- Notations and Annotations: Playful yet tasteful anecdotes that will provide humor in a subtle way for your home library, including my favorite joke from this fandom (”what excellent boiled potatoes.”)
- Supplemental illustrations: Including the English countryside, the Mr. Darcy hand flex, muddy walking boots, letter writing supplies, and a bowl of boiled potatoes.

This work is part of a series depicting my favorite female characters from literature.

Printed on 8x10 or 11x14 premium off-white, archival grade heavy paper by my local professional printer. Packaged and shipped from my home studio in West Seattle, WA.
